WPT has been in business since 1991. We’ve syndicated hundreds of horses and managed equine portfolios for over 2,000 Partners. We have a dedicated, experienced team, and we’re here to stay.

Horses first. Partners second. Company third. That’s our guiding mantra. We do right by our horses and put their well-being first. 

No other partnership has a better racehorse retirement program than ours. We’ve placed hundreds of retired West Point horses into great homes. You can learn more about the Congie Black and Gold fund here.

We deliver up-to-date and accurate information to our Partners. Honesty and transparency in communications are paramount to us – you will know the good and bad news. We have two full-time communications directors dedicated to providing all Partners with updates the day their horse has a workout, is entered, or runs. Every Partner receives a weekly portfolio status report on each of their horses.

Our website is second to none, with a dedicated private area for Partners, and we have a private social media portal just for the West Point team and Partners called Salesforce Chatter. This allows Partners to get real-time updates on their horses. Partners can interact with trainers on conference calls held several times a year.

West Point Thoroughbreds Partners join a community of people with a similar passion for racehorses and excellence- the West Point family.

We encourage personal involvement by inviting our Partners to attend the sales with us and visit their horses on the backstretch. We want you and your family to be up close and personal with the horses.

Many of our Partners follow ALL horses in the stable, not just the ones they own. They also make friends with other Partners and closely follow their horses as well.

Owning horses with West Point Thoroughbreds gives you access to a whole new world. You can get to know trainers and jockeys, experience the magic of mornings on the backstretch, attend the sales with the buying team, and get an inside-baseball look at the industry’s inner workings.

Integrity is the foundation of our business; our morals are the reason for our longevity. Terry Finley and West Point have a very good reputation in the Thoroughbred racing industry.

Partners buy into individual horses with West Point. Some outfits require buying into a package and/or putting up money before horses are purchased. You have the freedom to invest in the horse(s) you like.

Every dollar is accounted for and recorded. Our Chief Financial Officer is a Certified Public Accountant, and we send clear and full financial disclosures to all Partners each quarter in a timely manner.

A number of our Partners have enjoyed traveling the country to watch their horses run. It’s fun to go to the track close to home, but being involved in a national racing partnership can provide you with the ability to explore new places and see new tracks. Some partnerships are primarily based in a single region, not us!
