With your participation in a West Point Thoroughbreds partnership, you will have access to the stable area, complimentary admission passes, paddock privileges, and – with a little racing luck – a spot in the winner’s circle. We encourage our Partners to visit the horses, meet the trainers and jockeys, and enjoy the behind-the-scenes happenings of the Thoroughbred racing world. Many of our Partners especially cherish time spent with their horses during morning training.

West Point Thoroughbreds provides Partners full, accurate, and timely quarterly reports and statements detailing the income and expenses for their horses. Each partner receives a Form K-1 annually to reflect their involvement in each horse, distributed within 60 days of the conclusion of the calendar year. Financial issues, including expenses and distributions, are thoroughly explained in the Limited Liability Company (LLC) Agreement.

Partners are able to access their personal equine portfolio via a private, password-protected section, MYWPT. The company’s state-of-the-art website serves as the central information hub and is updated continuously with information on the individual horses, the stable in general, videos, and the latest syndication opportunities. We also have a private social media portal just for the West Point team and Partners called Salesforce Chatter. This allows Partners to get real-time updates on their horses.

West Point Thoroughbreds holds signature events for Partners throughout the racing year. From our showcase events welcoming our newly acquired 2-year-old horse class, to sales seminars, parties to celebrate the summer meets, young professionals socials, and our annual Kentucky Oaks and Derby party in Louisville.  Attending these events is a great way to make new friends and meet racing personalities.

West Point Thoroughbreds keeps Partners informed with breaking stable news, race day information and behind the scenes videos via online updates, emails, and texts providing information unavailable anywhere else.

Company Founder Terry Finley frequently shares his knowledge and unique perspective of racing. A prominent member of the Thoroughbred industry with over two decades of experience, his insights are very valuable. He is able to provide a unique insider’s look at industry organizations from his service on industry boards.
