2025 Belmont Stakes Festival

On Saturday, June 7, join WPT for the 157th running of the Belmont Stakes. This special event is part of a five-day Festival of racing, spanning from Wednesday, June 4 to Sunday, June 8.

WPT Partner Events

Join us on the backside on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday to take in morning training. This Saratoga tradition is a must, and we welcome you to bring any early-rising guests along! Find us at the Morning Line coffee stand, accessible through the Nelson Avenue gate (across from the Horseshoe), from approximately 7-10 am each morning.

NYRA has implemented a strict pass access policy for backstretch access Belmont week, which differs from the usual Saratoga meet gate list. If you plan to attend, please be sure to RSVP to Danielle so that we can accommodate you. There will be no gate list – so if you, or any of your guests, do not have a badge, it is imperative that we know you are attending.

We will have a WPT get together at the Post Bar on Thursday, June 5 from 4:00-5:30pm. A casual, “come as you are” event, we invite you and your guests to stop by and catch up with the team as we gear up for the weekend! RSVP to Danielle.

Admission and Parking

While Partners will not be able to purchase seats through WPT for the Belmont Festival, we are here to answer any of your questions regarding ticket options. For those who have horses entered on any day of the Festival, you will receive ticketing logistics information in your entry alert.

Tickets are available to purchase online in many of your favorite seating areas:

Parking will not be included with tickets, and may be purchased in advance or on a first come, first served basis day-of. Shuttle service will be available from parking areas to the track entrance.

A note regarding NY Owner’s Credentials:
Owner’s badges will not be valid for admission on Saturday, 6/7. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Badges will be valid for General Admission on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Family badges will be honored this year.

Owner’s badges will be honored for parking on each day except for Friday and Saturday.

Transportation and Accommodations

The most convenient airport to Saratoga is Albany International. Saratoga is a very Uber and Lyft-friendly town; however, given the typical volume of racing attendees, demand for rideshare options may be greater than usual. Expect to plan for long wait times, or look into rental car options!

Below are some WPT recommendations for accommodations central to downtown:

Other areas to search would be nearby towns such as Ballston Spa, Clifton Park, Glens Falls, and Malta. Additionally, we highly recommend Airbnb or Vrbo.

OpenTable and Resy are great sites to help choose a spot to eat, and many restaurants are already taking reservations for Belmont Festival week. If you have any particular favorites, we recommend calling ahead soon to secure a table! Need inspiration? Here is a list of top restaurants.
