These are the days our Partners strive to experience. To arrive at the Breeders’ Cup with a champion is special. To return with one who already owns a Breeders’ Cup victory makes Saturday’s Distaff (G1) a truly momentous occasion.

Super Corredora captured last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1), and she returns to the World Championships seeking another defining victory against the country’s leading older fillies and mares.

Everything has gone smoothly in the lead-up to the race. Super Corredora traveled well, has enjoyed a good week in Lexington and has made a favorable impression since arriving at Keeneland.

Assistant trainer Juan Leyva has been particularly pleased with how readily she has adapted to the track.

“She is a sweetheart in the barn, but on the track she is very aggressive,” Leyva said. “She really likes to train.”

Super Corredora has already given her Partners a championship season and an unforgettable Breeders’ Cup triumph. On Saturday, they will have another opportunity to share the excitement of watching their champion compete on racing’s biggest stage.

We got into the Breeders’ Cup spirit Thursday with a Partner event at Three Chimneys Farm in Lexington, where the group visited Super Corredora’s sire and fellow Breeders’ Cup hero Gun Runner.

The Distaff will air Saturday on NBC and stream on Peacock. Breeders’ Cup coverage will be available across NBC, USA Network, Peacock and FanDuel TV during the two-day championships.

The races will also stream live on the Breeders’ Cup YouTube channel:
