After surging through the stretch for a debut win on September 1, 2-year-old colt Bullard will move up to test the stakes ranks as the 8-to-5 morning-line favorite for Sunday’s $100,000 Bob Hope Stakes (G3) at Del Mar.

Umberto Rispoli retains the mount for trainer Mike McCarthy in the seven-furlong Bob Hope.

Bullard circled the field over this track to win first-time out going six furlongs and was named a TDN Rising Star.

West Point campaigns Bullard with St. Elias Stable and Michael Talla. The Gun Runner colt closed at 109-to-1 in the opening round of the 2025 Kentucky Derby Future Wager.
