Cavalry Charge Roars Home at Churchill Downs / Saturday, June 26, 2021

Cavalry Charge began his 4-year-old season with a career-best performance Thursday at Churchill Downs, drawing off to a 5-length win in a $102,000 allowance on the turf with a heady ride from Brian Hernandez Jr.

The bay gelding set a comfortable pace and had plenty left in the stretch, kicking away to record a 90 Beyer speed figure.

Dallas Stewart trains Cavalry Charge, a son of Honor Code purchased as a yearling at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select sale. Bill Sandbrook and Rob Masiello co-own him.
