Cugino will be a low price bidding for a Grade 2 credential on Sunday in the $250,000 Red Smith Stakes at Belmont at the Big A. Flavien Prat has the call in a repeat chance with West Point and trainer Shug McGaughey, as they all teamed up to win the 2024 Red Smith with Integration.

Cugino has won two of three starts this year including a victory in the Red Bank Stakes at Monmouth Park on September 1.
