Decorated Invader Eyes Another Hot Start in Danger’s Hour / Monday, April 5, 2021

Decorated Invader began his 2020 season with three consecutive stakes wins. On Saturday, he will get started on 2021, returning in the $100,000 Danger’s Hour Stakes on the grass at Aqueduct.

Junior Alvarado will pilot the 4-year-old colt for the first time since a maiden-breaking win at Saratoga in 2019.

Decorated Invader scored his biggest victory that fall in the Grade 1 Summer Stakes, contested over the mile trip of the Danger’s Hour.

Christophe Clement told Daily Racing Form “I’ve always thought he was at his best at a mile because he’s got such a high cruising speed. There are plenty of races through the year, including the Poker and Fourstardave.”

Competition includes Analyze It, a Grade 3 winner last year and third-place finisher in the 2018 Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1).
