After knocking on the door opening his career with a string of placings, Find No Fault put everything together today with a strong rally to win a $100,000 maiden special weight on the dirt at Ellis Park.

Adding blinkers for trainer Dale Romans, the 3-year-old Blame colt settled nicely and when Gerardo Corrales produced him at the top of the lane, he kept finding more and drew off to win by a length and a half.

Dale said, “I thought he ran big against a solid field and this was the breakthrough we’ve been looking for, he’s a quality colt. The jock really rode him well, he let the speed go and got him to finish strong. Hopefully this is just the beginning for this colt.”

West Point campaigns Find No Fault in a racing partnership with Albaugh Family Stable. He was acquired for $110,000 at the Keeneland September yearling sale.
