The West Point team secured a powerfully built filly from the first crop of Jackie’s Warrior, the Eclipse Champion Sprinter of 2021. Trained by Steve Asmussen, Jackie’s Warrior was a generational talent—a five-time Grade 1 winner who earned nearly $3 million while winning at two, three, and four. He remains the only horse to win a Grade 1 three summers in a row at Saratoga!
Jackie’s Warrior’s full résumé includes victories in the Champagne (G1), Hopeful (G1), H. Allen Jerkens (G1), Alfred G. Vanderbilt (G1), and Churchill Downs S. (G1). A son of Maclean’s Music, Jackie’s Warrior combined brilliance with durability, retiring as one of the most accomplished sprinters in recent memory. His first foals are yearlings of 2025 and have been among the most admired of the sales season—scopey, strong, and athletic like their sire.
Her dam, Wasabi Girl, was also trained by Steve Asmussen and displayed similar early speed and toughness. She won at Churchill Downs as a 2-year-old by more than 4-lengths and was stakes-placed that juvenile season. A daughter of champion 2yo Shanghai Bobby, she won twice at two and finished third in both the Dixie Belle S. (L) and the Zia Park Princess S. She has already produced a multiple-winning 2-year-old of 2025.
This filly’s pedigree is pure Asmussen heritage—by one of the barn’s most celebrated champions and out of a mare he trained himself. She embodies the balance of speed, power, and professionalism that made Jackie’s Warrior a household name.
Price includes all acquisition costs and all training, veterinary, and insurance expenses until January 1, 2027.
