West Point is proud to partner in an elite investment fund created to acquire well-bred colts at the prestigious Saratoga and Keeneland yearling sales. Each colt was hand-selected by world-class bloodstock agent David Ingordo and will be developed under the guidance of multiple Grade 1-winning trainer Cherie DeVaux.

Each horse is syndicated individually, with West Point maintaining a 15% ownership position in every colt within the fund. This structure provides Partners with rare access to blue-chip prospects while offering the opportunity to diversify their equine portfolios strategically.

The West Point team landed a bay colt by Liam’s Map, one of the most consistent sires of top-class dirt horses in North America. A brilliant racehorse himself, Liam’s Map earned over $1.3 million, highlighted by a track record-setting victory in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) and a win in the Woodward Stakes (G1) at Saratoga. At stud, he has already produced 29 stakes winners and progeny with combined earnings of more than $43 million, led by Grade 1 winners Colonel Liam, Deterministic, and Burnham Square. His runners are known for their blend of speed, class, and durability.

David Ingordo said, “He was one of our top prospects of the day Sunday. The competition in the ring was heated. He is a very athletic-looking colt with great balance and quality.”

The colt’s dam, Flying Fortress (by Uncle Mo), was a multiple winner of more than $150,000 and finished second in the Via Borghese Stakes (L) at Gulfstream Park. She is a full sister to Enola Gay, winner of the Appalachian Stakes (G2) at Keeneland, and half-sister to Tomasello, graded stakes-placed at Churchill Downs in 2025. Note that Horse of the Year Thorpedo Anna is by Uncle Mo.

This female family is rooted in turf class and international depth. The second dam, Dakota Queen (by War Front), is a half-sister to multiple stakes performers and herself produced black-type winners. The third dam, Moon Queen (IRE), was a Group 2 winner in France who also captured the Very One Handicap (G3) in the U.S. She is part of a prolific Sadler’s Wells family that includes Group/Grade 1 winners across Europe and America, such as Innuendo and Barafamy.

With Liam’s Map on top and a dam line filled with graded winners on both dirt and turf, this colt carries a pedigree that blends American dirt brilliance with European turf stamina and class. He is athletic, scopey, and bred to be versatile at the highest levels.

Price includes all acquisition costs and all training, veterinary, and insurance expenses until January 1, 2027.
