Ivory and Ebony Caps Strong Saratoga Meet for WPT / Friday, September 5, 2025

Ivory and Ebony broke through with a determined rally to score at Saratoga on Sunday, prevailing as the favorite and maintaining her admirable consistency: a win, two seconds, a third and a fourth in 5 career starts.

The victory was West Point’s sixth of the Saratoga meet from 33 starters (18 percent strike rate), to go along with 5 seconds and 6 thirds.

Dale said, “The leader had her way all alone and you worry about Irad – he knows what he is doing out on the front end but Luis rode a great race and she ran them down.” Interview with Dale in the winner’s circle

Dale said the filly looks like she can go farther and he’s intrigued with her for the grass, maybe that can give her a little more punch.

The filly shipped back to Churchill Downs on Tuesday and Dale will get her back on the tab before selecting a target for her first start against winners.
