Mila Rose made a smooth transition to the main track at Keeneland on Thursday, rallying to victory and improving to 2-for-2.

The daughter of Vekoma aced her test against winners after previously scoring by 3 1/2 lengths on the Tapeta track at Turfway Park in her debut on March 2 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Jockey Joseph Ramos has been aboard Mila Rose for both wins, this time with the added challenge of navigating the rail post position going 6 furlongs on the dirt at Keeneland.

West Point, Michael Lyden and Michael Olszewski secured Mila Rose for $130,000 at the 2024 OBS March sale of two-year-olds in training.
