Mist Scores at Woodbine / Monday, June 15, 2015

Mist made it two for three with a win on Woodbine’s Polytrack over the weekend. A 3-year-old son of Sharp Humor, Mist was making his first start for new trainer Ralph Biamonte after being transferred from Dale Romans. He sat just off the pace in the early going before sweeping by the leaders and prevailing by a length and a quarter under Eurico Rosa Da Silva.

Canadian-breds runs for additional money against company, and the colt was shipped up North to take advantage of this incentive.

“He ran hard today,” said Biamonte. “Eurico said he thinks six furlongs is the perfect distance for him. I was happy to see him that sharp after not running since February.”

Mist is expected to campaign at Woodbine through the rest of the year.
