Purchased at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Carressa’s career got off to a slow start and she was unplaced in her first two starts. The stretch out to two turns proved instrumental for the daughter of Uncle Mo trained by John Shirreffs, and she broke her maiden at Del Mar and won a first-level allowance race by eight lengths before relishing the turf in the $100,000 Megahertz Stakes (G3T).
