Born in 1999, Ethan Man won his first two in the fall of his 2-year-old year before winning the Swale Stakes in March 2002 at Gulfstream Park for trainer Pat Byrne. As a 4-year-old, he was second in the Phoenix Breeders’ Cup Stakes (G2) before competing in the 2003 Breeders’ Cup.
