Purchased at the 2021 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling Sale, Integration is a son of Quality Road out of the grade one winning mare Harmonize. For Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey, the colt made his first start in the summer 2023. In just his second race, he captured the $500,000 Virginia Derby (G3T) at Colonial Downs.
