Purchased at the 2024 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Intricate Spirit broke his maiden at first asking in the summer of 2025 at Saratoga. Trained by Miguel Clement, he was then second in a big money allowance at Kentucky Downs before winning the Futurity Stakes (G3) at Belmont at the Big A. The Futurity is part of the Breeders’ Cup “Win And You’re In” Challenge Series for the Juvenile Turf Sprint.
