Purchased at the 2024 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Intricate Spirit broke his maiden at first asking in the summer of 2025 at Saratoga. Trained by Miguel Clement, he was then second in a big-money allowance at Kentucky Downs before winning the Futurity Stakes (G3) at Belmont at the Big A.

As a 3-year-old he was third in the Texas Glitter Stakes at Gulfstream Park before winning the Paradise Creek Stakes at Belmont at the Big A.

Intricate Spirit is by Complexity out of Dottie’s Spirit.
