Justwhistledixe was a top sophomore filly of 2009. A pretty daughter of Dixie Union, Justwhistledixie broke her maiden in her third career start before reeling off four straight stakes wins, including the Davona Dale (G2) and Bonnie Miss (G2) Stakes at Gulfstream Park. She was set to contest Rachel Alexandra in the Kentucky Oaks, but missed the race due to a foot bruise.
Later in her 3-year-old year, Justwhistledixie was second in both the Acorn (G1) Stakes and Top Flight (G1) Handicap. She retired in spring 2010 with five wins from twelve career starts and earnings of $449,427.
