Arkansas Derby (G1) winner Sandman is on the scene at Churchill Downs and training well ahead of the Kentucky Derby on the First Saturday in May.
Mark Casse said, “He looks tremendous. I’m amazed at how little his races take out of him. The plan right now is to give him a half-mile work next Wednesday, then a 5/8 the following Wednesday, 10 days out from the race. He doesn’t need to do a whole lot.”
