Super Corredora Draws Off at Santa Anita, Into Breeders’ Cup Mix / Friday, October 17, 2025

Trainer John Sadler unleashed a super breakout from Super Corredora on Saturday at Santa Anita in her first chance to stretch out in distance, and she likely punched a ticket to the $2-million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1).

The daughter of Gun Runner graduated by 8 lengths with jockey Hector Berrios aboard in the mile event around two turns. Super Corredora stepped up to a 78 Beyer and a strong 12 on the Ragozin Sheets.

John said, “She really stepped up and I think the Breeders’ Cup warrants some serious consideration over the next few days before pre-entries are taken on Monday.”

West Point campaigns the daughter of Gun Runner with co-owners Spartan Equine Racing LLC, Robert Gardiner and Michael Olszewski. She was acquired at the 2024 Keeneland September yearling sale.
