Terry Finley Appointed to Jockey Mental Health Committtee / Friday, October 6, 2023

West Point Thoroughbreds founder and CEO Terry Finley has been appointed to the newly formed Jockey Mental Health Steering Committee of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority.

Terry will serve alongside of Craig Bandoroff, a former apprentice jockey who founded Denali Stud; Anthony Bonomo, who was a co-owner of Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming along with West Point and Vinnie Viola’s St. Elias Stable; Donna Brothers, a former jockey and current racing broadcaster; Eurico Da Silva, a retired jockey; Lisa Lazarus, the chief executive of HISA; Terry Meyocks, the president of The Jockeys’ Guild; trainer Graham Motion; Gary Palmisano, the executive director of racing at Churchill Downs; and Dan Waits, the executive director of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America.
