Grass racing is heating up along with the temperatures around the U.S. and West Point is in the thick of the action on the turf.

And he came charging in the stretch to be part of the dead heat for third, registering a 100 Beyer for trainer Shug McGaughey and jockey Kendrick Carmouche.
This weekend, German import Winning Spirit will have his U.S. debut in the $175,000 Chorleywood Overnight on Saturday night as West Point takes aim at a fifth stakes win during the Churchill meet. Winning Spirit was a stakes winner in Italy last year and was brought to America over the winter to join the Clement barn.
On Sunday, Final Boss will likely go favored in the $100,000 Cinema Stakes for 3-year-olds on the turf at Santa Anita. Final Boss and jockey Juan Hernandez are coming off a front-running win over the same course and distance for trainer John Sadler.
