Voodoo Zip wrapped up a wonderful Belmont Park meet for our roster in New York, scoring a game victory on Sunday afternoon and earning a career-best 92 Beyer figure. Voodoo Zip has literally never run a bad race, finishing in the top three in all 10 of his races.
West Point finished the Belmont spring/summer meet with seven wins from 20 starts to rank third in the owner standings by wins and at the top by win percentage (35%), a great credit to trainers Christophe Clement, Shug McGaughey and Steve Asmussen.
Christophe trains Voodoo Zip, a 4yo son of City Zip.
On to Saratoga!
