A couple hundred Partners of West Point Thoroughbreds were on hand for the 40th Breeders’ Cup World Championships on November 3-4 at Santa Anita Park in Southern California.
The weekend started with a bang with a victory from West Point runner Final Boss on November 2 as a perfect prelude to a Partner get-together that afternoon at the track.
The two WPT Breeders’ Cup runners on November 3, Carson’s Run and Slider, were unable to hit the board in their races on November 3 but both came back in good shape and, as 2-year-old stakes winners, carry lots of promise ahead.
