This standout colt is from the first crop of Grade 1 winner Cyberknife, a son of Horse of the Year Gun Runner who combined speed, class, and durability at the highest level, highlighted by wins in the Arkansas Derby (G1) and Haskell (G1).

He made a strong impression at the sale, working :9.4 with a stride length a full foot above average, backed up by excellent breeze notes: very good mover, out well, went easy. 

The pedigree adds further appeal. He’s out of an Unbridled’s Song mare and from the family of Grade 3 winner Richiegirlgonewild. The cross mirrors the same successful pattern that produced Grade 1 winner Brant.

He will be trained by John Sadler, best known as the trainer of Flightline, and also responsible for top-level runners such as Accelerate and Catalina Cruiser. John has done wonderful work with this sire line, including our very own champion 2-year-old filly Super Corredora. Her sire is Gun Runner, just like Cyberknife. John also trained the very talented racehorse and top-shelf sire Twirling Candy, a son of Candy Ride, who is this new colt’s grandsire.
