After making a successful transition from France to North America, Bandiagara (GB) will look to add a graded stakes victory to her résumé Saturday in the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes at Woodbine.

Purchased at the prestigious Arc Sale in France last fall, the daughter of Zelzal was imported to the United States and patiently developed by trainer Miguel Clement. That approach paid off in her stateside debut in the Penn Oaks, where she produced a powerful late rally to score impressively.

Now, Bandiagara will take the next step against a talented field of 3-year-old turf fillies as she seeks her first graded stakes victory.

The Ontario Colleen Stakes is scheduled as Race 8 with a 4:50 p.m. ET post time. The race will be televised live on FanDuel TV.
