Brightline Bullet Shines in Runaway Win at Aqueduct / Friday, April 10, 2026

Brightline Bullet has required patience, and along the way he generated a significant amount of faith from trainer Miguel Clement, and that was rewarded on April 9 when he powered to a 5 3/4-length maiden win at Aqueduct in his second career start.

The 4-year-old son of Liam’s Map has long been considered a talented prospect. West Point, Donarra Thoroughbreds and New Phoenix Stable acquired him at the Keeneland September yearling sale.

He broke well for jockey Jaime Rodriguez and answered powerfully in the turn to take command.

Miguel said, “He has had his fair share of setbacks but always demonstrated talent.”
