Cavalry Charge Cruises at Churchill With Switch To Turf / Tuesday, June 2, 2020

A switch to turf suited Cavalry Charge just fine on Sunday as he cruised to a front-running win by 3 lengths in an $81,000 maiden event at Churchill Downs.

Cavalry Charge dictated the pace and spurted away at the top of the stretch with a heady ride from Julien Leparoux.

Trained by Dallas Stewart, Cavalry Charge is a 3-year-old son of Honor Code. His dam, Sweet Talkin, also broke her maiden on the grass at Churchill Downs.
