Creed’s Vision opened up several new dimensions while delivering a nice victory Monday in Colonial’s feature. He not only made a seamless transition to turf, but he also relaxed well for jockey Jorge Ruiz, settling more than 5 lengths back early, rallying through the long stretch, and drawing off to win by a length and a quarter.
Jimmy Creed stands for $7,500 and West Point sure has enjoyed his versatile progeny: Kanthaka (Grade 2 winner on dirt, beaten a nose in a Grade 1 on turf), Slider (debut winner on dirt at Del Mar, stakes winner on turf and Breeders’ Cup participant) and now Creed’s Vision.
Bred in Maryland, 4-year-old Creed’s Vision was a maiden at the start of 2026 but he has won 3 times in 5 starts this season for trainer Arnaud Delacour. He has now earned $150,255.
West Point acquired the white-faced chestnut at the 2024 OBS April sale.
