Decorated Invader, Kanthaka Ready for Grade 2 Action Sunday / Friday, October 16, 2020

Two of the top-credentialed horses on the West Point roster, Decorated Invader and Kanthaka, have Grade 2 turf assignments on Sunday.

Decorated Invader already owns three stakes wins (two of them in Grade 2 races) this season and will shorten up in distance to a mile in the $150,000 Hill Prince Stakes at Belmont Park. He is even-money on the morning line, with regular jockey Joel Rosario to take the reins for trainer Christophe Clement.

Kanthaka, a multiple Graded stakes winner, finished second by a neck in Belmont’s Grade 1 Jaipur Stakes this summer and is 3-to-1 on the morning-line for the $250,000 Nearctic Stakes over a similar 6-furlong trip at Woodbine.

Luis Contreras will guide Kanthaka for trainer Graham Motion.
