Lasting Image nailed down a maiden win this afternoon at Laurel Park with some grit and determination and a heady ride from Julian Pimentel.

The Maryland-bred 3-year-old switched to the inside in an eventful stretch duel with heavy favorite Peachy Keen and gamely got his nose down on the wire.
