Participants in the $2,500 Derby Dollars Contest, presented by West Point Thoroughbreds and 123bet.com, build bankrolls based on mythical “across-the-board” (win-place-show) bets on their picks in designated races that correspond with the schedule of 3-year-old events making up the official Road to the Kentucky Derby point standings. As the qualifying points in the races increase, so do the size of the mythical wagers.

The winner is determined by the highest total bankroll after the Kentucky Derby on May 7. Prizes are $1,500 for first place, with $500 for second, $250 for third, $150 for fourth and $100 for fifth. It is free to enter and open to residents of the United States and Canada.

The Derby Dollars Contest begins Saturday, Feb. 20, with the Risen Star Stakes from Fair Grounds in Louisiana, and continues over the next 10 weeks, culminating with the Kentucky Derby.
