Ultra Sharp Splashes Home / Tuesday, February 2, 2016

Ultra Sharp splashed his way to the winner’s circle over the weekend at Santa Anita. Off as the favorite, the son of Sharp Humor broke on top, established command, and drew off in the stretch under Flavien Prat.

“He ran really well first time off a layoff, and we expected him to be tough to beat coming back in the same spot,” said trainer Craig Dollase. “We were originally pointing for a race going six furlongs that wasn’t used, but he showed today that he can handle a mile. I love how he just got out there and got in a rhythm. Flavien did a great job.”

Despite the heavy rains, Partners joined their horse and Craig and Nancy Dollase in the winner’s circle at “The Great Race Place”.
