Galilean Eyes Fourth Win of Year in Del Mar’s Cary Grant / Friday, November 20, 2020

Galilean makes his way back to dirt looking for a familiar outcome Sunday with Umberto Rispoli aboard in the $100,000 Cary Grant Stakes at Del Mar.

The 4-year-old colt will be shooting for his fourth stakes win since June. Each time he has been asked to do something different: he has gone long on the turf, long on the dirt, short on the grass and now he will be a short price in a dirt sprint.

John Sadler trains Galilean, a son of Uncle Mo who has earned $577,089. Most recently, he got up to win by a head in the 5 1/2-furlong California Flag Handicap on the turf at Santa Anita on October 11. His most recent dirt outing resulted in a 4-length victory in the Soi Phet Stakes on June 27 at Los Alamitos.
