Purchased at the prestigious Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale, this colt was selected by leading U.S.-based bloodstock agent Kip Elser, who travels to Europe annually to identify international talent for West Point. Kip has sourced several successful runners for the partnership overseas, including stakes winner Pascaline and stakes performer Stretch Ride.

By classic winner Early Voting, a son of leading sire Gun Runner, this colt brings an exciting blend of speed, class, and upside. Early Voting captured the Preakness Stakes (G1) and was one of the most talented colts of his crop.

He will be trained by Hall of Famer Mark Casse, who continues to enjoy tremendous success with West Point runners, including Grade 1 performers Sandman and Counting Stars, along with stakes horses such as Ewing and Curtain Call. The plan is for this colt to be campaigned primarily in the United States, based in New York and Florida. He flew into Miami and will join the Casse roster at his training center in Ocala.

The colt is bred on an A++ TrueNicks cross — the same successful pattern that produced Grade 1 winner Cyberknife.

His female family is loaded with proven class and depth. He is out of a winning Distorted Humor mare and traces back to one of Canada’s most accomplished families, including champion Dancethruthedawn (G1) and legendary Canadian Triple Crown winner Dance Smartly.

As a Canadian-bred, he is eligible for the Canadian Triple Crown series, highlighted by the historic King’s Plate, providing additional high-value racing opportunities. Casse himself is also a member of the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, making this a natural fit should those opportunities come into play.
