Jaxon Traveler sped to his third straight win and became a stakes winner Saturday, prevailing at Laurel Park in the $100,000 Maryland Juvenile Futurity.

The Maryland-bred colt and jockey Johan Rosado have won all three of his races by a combined 15 lengths. He held on gamely Saturday after setting a pressured pace along the inside.

Steve Asmussen trains Jaxon Traveler, who is based at Belmont Park with Steve’s assistant, Toby Sheets.

West Point and Marvin Delfiner bought Jaxon Traveler at the OBS spring sale of two-year-olds in training.
