Jeff Lowe joins West Point Thoroughbreds Team / Tuesday, March 19, 2019

Long-time Turf writer and publicist Jeff Lowe has joined West Point Thoroughbreds in a communications and marketing role.

Lowe comes to the partnership company after seven years in a similar position at Team Valor International. He previously spent nine years at Thoroughbred Times, serving as the publication’s lead writer for the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup. Lowe also has been a contributing writer for America’s Best RacingThoroughbred CommentaryMid-Atlantic Thoroughbred and North American Trainer.

“Jeff brings so much experience to the table, as a Turf writer and with the partnership model, that will help take us to the next level in providing our partners with great communication and content,” West Point CEO Terry Finley said. “I have known Jeff for many years and am excited to have him on board our team.”

Lowe grew up around horse racing—his father, Bill, for many years was the general manager at the track in Delaware, Ohio, that plays host to one of harness racing’s biggest events, the Little Brown Jug.

“I love horse racing and working for a company that helps people experience it as racehorse owners and at a high level is a true dream job,” said Lowe, who will be based in Lexington, Kentucky.
