Jungle Warfare Roars Home at Golden Gate Fields / Monday, March 25, 2019

Jungle Warfare rolls through the stretch for a win "up north" at Golden Gate Fields.

Jungle Warfare made a smooth transition to the synthetic surface at Golden Gate Fields and landed his second career victory, surging home under jockey William Antongeorgi III in the Saturday feature.

The 4-year-old gelding shipped up from Southern California for this assignment. He was a model of consistency there with a win and 13 placings in 17 starts, split between dirt and turf.

West Point and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer improved to 3-for-3 this month at Golden Gate Fields, having won with Full of Luck (Antongeorgi up) on March 16 and with Getaloadofthis on March 3.
