Late spring will bring several exciting horses to the limelight: B Dawk, Elector and Got Thunder are all scheduled for their first stakes assignments.

B Dawk, an eye-popping winner at Keeneland, is slated for the Sir Barton Stakes on the Preakness Stakes undercard on Saturday, May 21 at Pimlico. He worked six furlongs in 1:11.80 under jockey Tyler Gaffalione on Friday at Churchill Downs.

Another 3-year-old colt, Got Thunder, is due for a stakes test in the $300,000 Texas Derby on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 at Lone Star. He broke his maiden on April 17 at Santa Anita for trainer John Sadler. Got Thunder also was on the work tab Friday, breezing five furlongs in 1:00.80.

Elector is a 4-year-old colt for the Sadler barn and he will carry two straight wins into the Triple Bend Stakes (G2) on May 29 at Santa Anita. The Constitution colt sharpened up with a five-furlong move in 1:00.40 on Saturday, May 7.
