Tom Murphy has joined the West Point Thoroughbreds team as an executive assistant. Tom is a graduate of the University of Louisville’s Equine Business program and has worked in trainer Dale Romans’ barn, at Lane’s End Farm and in the Events/Operations Department at Churchill Downs.

Terry Finley said, “We’ve gotten to know Tommy so well the last few years around the races and our events as his parents Dan and Cathleen are Partners in a number of West Point horses. Tommy loves racing and has gotten experience and a good, thorough education in various aspects. It became clear that he would be a great addition to our team.”

Tom is based in Louisville.
