Participate in West Point Thoroughbreds’ 2025 Del Mar Challenge, and you could win an ownership experience in a 2-year-old Thoroughbred racehorse: a Battalion Runner gelding named Army Man.
To play, contestants picked one jockey/trainer/horse from each grouping of names and earned points throughout the 2025 Del Mar meet. Most points at the end of the meet wins the challenge.

Army Man is a 2-year-old gelding trained by Michael McCarthy, who was purchased at the 2025 OBS June Sale.
The winner will not receive any bills associated with Army Man. Experience includes access to horse communications, paddock, backstretch, and (hopefully) winner’s circle, invitations to Partner events, and one percent of net purse distributions by West Point Thoroughbreds during Army Man’s racing career.
