Brigadier General Steps Up in St. Louis Derby / Friday, August 19, 2022

Brigadier General wins at Keeneland in April.

Brigadier General makes his stakes debut Saturday night in the $250,000 St. Louis Derby at FanDuel Racing (formerly known as Fairmount Park) in Collinsville, Illinois.

The 3-year-old colt broke his maiden three starts back and is coming off a second-place finish by a nose at Churchill Downs on July 4.

Dallas Stewart trains Brigadier General, a son of Street Sense acquired as a yearling at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky in 2020.

The St. Louis Derby is the highlight of the racing season at FanDuel Racing and will be broadcast locally on the network affiliate KPLR.
