Parnac and Decorated Invader Back for More at the Big A / Friday, November 11, 2022

Fresh off victories for trainer Christophe Clement, Parnac and Decorated Invader go for quick doubles Sunday in stakes action on the turf at Aqueduct.

Parnac figures to appreciate some give in the ground in the $135,000 Winter Memories for 3-year-old fillies. She scored her first American victory on October 29 at Aqueduct. Javier Castellano retains the mount. Last fall, the French-bred filly scored back-to-back wins in Germany.

Decorated Invader captured an allowance at Woodbine on October 23 after finishing second by a nose in his 2022 debut. Rain is in the forecast Friday and Saturday in New York and helped influence Christophe to give the big 5-year-old the go-ahead for Sunday’s $135,000 Artie Schiller Stakes. Decorated Invader won the Grade 1 Summer Stakes as a 2-year-old on ground rated “yielding.” Kendrick Carmouche has the call.
