The ultra-exciting Flightline has a target for his likely stakes debut: the $300,000 Malibu Stakes (G1) on December 26 at Santa Anita.

Flightline has commanded attention far and wide winning his two previous races by a combined 26 lengths.

There is an outside chance the 3-year-old Tapit colt will convince trainer John Sadler to move up plans and aim for the $2-million Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) at Del Mar. For now, John is game to put a circle around the seven-furlong Malibu.

John said, “I want to plan his future wisely. I’d like to go to the Malibu then work backward from the Met Mile, a huge stallion-making race.”
