Galilean winning the California Dreamin' Handicap at Del Mar

Participate in West Point Thoroughbreds’ 2023 Del Mar Handicapping Challenge, and you could win an ownership experience in a 2-year-old Thoroughbred racehorse: a Justify colt named Scatify trained by John Sadler.

To play, contestants picked one jockey/trainer/horse from each grouping of names and earned points throughout the 2023 Del Mar meet. Most points at the end of the meet wins the challenge.

  • 1 point for each selected trainer/jockey win
  • 5 points each time selected West Point horse wins, 3 for second, 1 for third

Scatify is a 2-year-old colt by Justify trained by John Sadler who was purchased at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Old in Training Sale. He is expected to debut later this year. 

The winner will not receive any bills associated with Scatify. Experience includes access to horse communications, paddock, backstretch, and (hopefully) winner’s circle, invitations to Partner events, and one percent of net purse distributions by West Point Thoroughbreds during Scatify’s racing career.

2017 Del Mar Challenge winner won an ownership experience in graded stakes winner Kanthaka.
