This bay colt by Life Is Good brings together the brilliant speed of one of the most talented racehorses of his generation with a deep female family filled with Grade 1 quality.

Life Is Good won nine races and earned more than $4.5 million, with his biggest victories including the Pegasus World Cup (G1), Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1), Whitney Stakes (G1), and Woodward Stakes (G1). His first crop has made an immediate impact in 2026, already producing a Hopeful Stakes (G1) winner, along with Kentucky Juvenile Stakes winner Waggley. The catalog already lists Waggley among Life Is Good’s early winners.

This colt is bred on a similar cross to Grade 1 winners Gina Romantica and Ted Noffey, as well as multiple Grade 2 winner Maximus Mischief, an encouraging pattern combining the Into Mischief line with the Unbridled influence found through his dam.

There is serious quality on the bottom side as well. His second dam, Icon Project, earned more than $660,000 and won the Personal Ensign Stakes (G1) at Saratoga, while also producing Del Mar Handicap (G2) winner Fashion Business.

The family gets even stronger under third dam La Gueriere, herself a Grade 1 winner who produced multiple graded stakes horses. La Gueriere is also the granddam of Munnings, the multiple Grade 2-winning sprinter who has developed into one of the country’s most successful stallions.

He will be trained by Cherie DeVaux, whose program continues to operate at the highest level, headlined by Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner Golden Tempo, Breeders’ Cup winner More Than Looks, and top sprinter Englishman, along with outstanding fillies including West Point’s Vahva and champion She Feels Pretty.
