Background – One of my earliest childhood memories in Cincinnati, Ohio, was going to River Downs (now Belterra Park) with my parents. We would attend once a year on Labor Day when they ran the meet’s biggest race, the Cradle Stakes. One year, I had $2 on a winning longshot named Bravoure, and a lifelong passion was born.

After high school, I attended Syracuse University, where I graduated from the Newhouse School with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at Syracuse, I worked for the famed campus radio station, WAER, and had the opportunity to broadcast play-by-play for everything from Syracuse Football crushing Michigan (and their quarterback, some guy named Brady) at the Big House to the Maui Invitational to the NCAA Lacrosse Final Four.

After criss-crossing the country broadcasting minor league baseball, I moved to Albany, NY, in 2000. I’ve called college football and basketball for ESPN networks nationwide since 2016 and am the longtime play-by-play voice of Siena men’s basketball.

After our first date at Saratoga, my wife Victoria and I got married in 2008, and we have two young children who’ve been going to the races there since before they could walk!

Industry Experience – Aside from being a lifelong fan and horseplayer, I worked for Capital OTB as the original host of their morning show, Racing Across America. I was responsible for booking guests and hosting the show from the Saratoga backstretch. Some of the more memorable guests we had on included Ramon Dominguez, Chad Brown, Shug McGaughey, Steve Asmussen, and a personal hero, track announcer Tom Durkin.

My two favorite horses of all time are Easy Goer and Cavorting. I’m excited to join the West Point team and look forward to meeting the many Partners, horses,
and people that make the West Point family so special!

Interests – I’m a huge sports fan, as you might expect. I am a long-suffering, diehard Cincinnati Bengals fanatic and also a huge supporter of Syracuse Basketball. When I’m not on air or watching the races, I am an avid, mediocre golfer and a fan of sushi and my wife’s cooking!
