This bay colt by Army Mule combines the speed of a proven Grade 1 sire with an exceptional female family that has produced champions and classic winners across multiple generations.

Army Mule was brilliant on the racetrack, going undefeated in three starts and culminating his career with a dominant victory in the Carter Handicap (G1). He has developed into a highly productive stallion, already siring 21 black-type winners, led by H. Allen Jerkens Memorial (G1) winner One in Vermillion, along with graded stakes winners Federal Judge and Ground Support.

There is also a strong connection with our co-owner, St. Elias Stable, which campaigned Army Mule throughout his undefeated racing career.

This colt is bred on a similar cross to Grade 1 winner Search Results and West Point’s own graded stakes winner Cavalry Charge, giving us two proven examples of the Army Mule/Distorted Humor-line pattern.

The female family is outstanding. His third dam, Teeming, is a half-sister to Belmont Stakes (G1) winner and champion Rags to Riches, Belmont Stakes (G1) winner Jazil, and Grade 2 winner Casino Drive. Teeming herself produced Hollywood Starlet (G1) winner Streaming, and the family has continued to produce elite horses generation after generation.

Most notably, this is also the immediate family of Arcangelo, the champion 3-year-old who won both the Belmont Stakes (G1) and Travers Stakes (G1). Other accomplished runners in the family include Canadian champion Tyson and San Carlos Stakes (G2) winner Cezanne.

He will be trained by Cherie DeVaux, whose program continues to operate at the highest level, headlined by Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner Golden Tempo, Breeders’ Cup winner More Than Looks, and top sprinter Englishman, along with outstanding fillies including West Point’s Vahva and champion She Feels Pretty.
